St. Scholastica College invite IRI's GM for Environmental Presentation

Last December 5, 2011, IRI's General Manager, Mr. Lee Salvatore R. Echiverri, was invited by the Environmental Society from St. Scholastica College to be the main speaker on their seminar entitled “the story of Electronics”. The purpose of the seminar is to educate the students about the environment and the proper disposal of Electronic Scraps. In addition, the organization wants to create awareness and concern among the students regarding the environment and the relation of proper E-wastes management to its protection.

Mr. Echiverri gave a presentation in line with the objectives of the organization and showed them the proper ways of recycling Electronic Scraps and other recyclable material. He also tackled the harmful effects of electronic scraps to our environment if not properly disposed. An open forum was also held after the presentation.
