IRI welcomes Divine Word College

Integrated Recycling Industries welcomed Computer Engineering students from Divine Word College of Calapan City, Mindoro last January 27, 2012, with a total of 29 students and faculty members. The purpose of their visit was to learn different processes on how to recycle Electronic scrap and other materials. During the plant visit, IRI’s Vice President/General Manager gave a short presentation about the effects of improper recycling to the environment and to humans as well. He also tackled the recycling process of IRI.

After the presentation, the students were toured around the plant to witness the processes of IRI in recycling different kinds of scrap materials like plastics, non ferrous and precious metals and electronic scrap. Questions of the students were also answered during the plant tour.

We, in IRI, hope that students from Divine Word College learned something during their plant visit and with this knowledge, act for the benefit of our environment.
