PUP Manila - Computer Engineering Students Visit IRI

A group of graduating Computer Engineering Students from PUP Manila visited IRI last January 18, 2010. Their tour at IRI is part of their Laguna Tour which included a visit to Gardenia and Jollibee Foods Corporation. A short presentation on proper waste management practices was conducted by IRI’s General Manager, Mr. Lee Salvatore Echiverri. Mr. Echiverri emphasized to the students that everyone can take part in slow down the global warming and proper waste recycling and disposal.

After the presentation, the group went to the production area where they saw the actual process of recycling and materials recovery. Light snacks were served to the students after the tour. To show their gratitude to IRI, the students presented a Plaque of Appreciation to the company for being part of their learning exercise.
