IRI participates in the Eco-Industrial Expo 2007 held at LIIP

In celebration of “EARTH DAY”, IRI joined the Eco-Industrial Expo 2007 with the theme “EcoIndex Resource Recovery Event 2007” held at the Laguna International Industrial Park (LIIP) last April 27, 2007. Several Environmental Service Providers and concerned Government agencies participated in this worthwhile and meaningful event. Ms. Dolora N. Nepomuceno, Officer-In-Charge of the Laguna Lake Development Authority gave the inspirational message to formally open the activities.

Aside from the scrap collection event, other activities in this whole-day affair were as follows:

• Bio-fuel Law (presented by the Department of Energy)
• Presentations by Environmental Service Providers

   - participated-in by the locators from various Industrial Parks and was facilitated by the students from the University of Perpetual Help System – Biñan, Laguna
