Studio 23's Bantay Kalisan TV (BKTV) features IRI in episode on e-waste

IRI Philippines was featured on Studio 23's Bantay Kalikasan TV last October 07, 2006. The show's topic was on how individuals should dispose of their electronic wastes, or e-wastes like old cell phones and computers. IRI was featured as a place which can accept these e-wastes for proper handling and disposal that does not harm the environment.

BKTV's hosts Reema Chanco and Juddha Paolo interviewed several individuals on how their electronic wastes are disposed of. They also discussed what happens to e-wastes if they are thrown into the environment.

Greenpeace, an international organization dedicated to the preservation and protection of the environment was also featured in the show.

Bantay Kalikasan is part of ABS-CBN's program that promotes nature awareness and advocates the preservation of the environment.
