IRI Hosts Graduating Engineering Students from the University of Sto. Tomas (UST)

Graduating Electrical and Communications Engineering (ECE) students from UST visited IRI's facility on September 12, 2005. Forty (40) students led by their Professor, Engr. Ma. Luisa T. Asilo, participated in the plant tour. A presentation was made to enlighten the students on IRI's capabilities and commitment to the environment. The group was later given a plant tour.

Some students provided inputs and comments on the operation of IRI, all of which were noted by management. Light snacks were served to the students after the plant tour.

IRI hosts these plant tours as part of its contribution to enhancing the environmental awareness of the community, including the students.

Last year, Mechanical Engineering students from the Bulacan State University also visited IRI
