Brent International School - Subic Visits IRI

Last March 14, 2013, 25 Grade 4 students along with 5 professors from Brent International School-Subic visited the Integrated Recycling Industries Phils. Inc. During the plant visit, IRI’ s Vice President/General Manager, Lee Salvatore Echiverri, presented some facts about climate change and how it destroys our environment. He also discussed how we could benefit from practicing proper recycling and how it slows down the effect of climate change. After the presentation, the students were toured around the plant for them to witness different ways of recycling especially the process of recycling for Electronic Wastes. Questions coming from the students and professors regarding recycling were also addressed during the plant tour.

We in IRI, believe that spreading awareness about climate change will help our environment from its destructive effects.
